About Me - Francesca Roehlecke

I have travelled to many countries and I love them all. I love art of all kinds and I think everything we do in life is a creative process.

I have been painting since I was four years old and had my first exhibition in New Zealand at the age of eleven. I had a vision of becoming an artist since I was five years old when I saw this most amazing artwork done by an older student at school, which inspired me.

I first started painting professionally at the age of 12. At the ages of 12, 13 and 14 I exhibited in the "Star Art Exhibition". At the age of 15 I achieved the highest mark for art in New Zealand schools for 1985 School Certificate.

I then went overseas and I was then accepted into one of Australias Art Schools "The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology", where I studied for two years. I completed my final year of my Bachelor of Fine Art majoring in painting in USA.

I have been painting and exhibiting around the world after my studies. In 2011 I joined a French artist group called Le Structurellisme led by Peintre Beaudier. The method of painting is from the centre outwards. Where the middle of the painting captures the light and energy of Mother Nature.
